Cisealú means layer or layering in Irish, and it was the inspiration for the stripes motif. The hat is worked from the bottom up, in 2×2 rib.

There are two options for fit and brim length. You can choose whether you want a folded or non fol- ded brim. I’ve kept it simple for begginer knitters, although the kitchener stich at the end should still provide a bit of a challenge.
