Welcome to the third week of Thursdays Drop! This weeks Thursdays Drop is full of soft and sweet colours. I wanted to see what would happen when I dyed all the skeins first with one same colour (have a guess!), then on its second dip of colour change each individual batch up. What would the resulting yarns look like? Would they share a similarity or be a total mush? I’m really enjoying the result, they each have a common thread but you gotta look real hard to find it I think. Each grouping feels… different, tells us it’s own story in how it looks.
This week the bases are BFL 50’s and Singles! Our BFL Sock is 100% Bluefaced Leicester and is 50g/200m. This base is beautifully soft & light, it holds a great stitch definition like her Merino Sock Lite counterpart. With that hint of sheepy smell, of course! Our Singles is 100% Superwash Merino and 100g/366m, and we all know how singles bloom beautifully when blocked. I dyed five of the BFL colours on the Singles too, my favourite shades!
